Bad links to copywritten material...

Bloody automated bots, seems we had another link go bad, I just fixed the M-Blanket rip so it seems to be working again. One day I'll go through all the links to see what doesn't work, pls keep me informed.

Update: I suddenly stopped doing any VDRP work, again. Plus my $180 sound card bit it so I got a $40 sound card replacement. I need to find WaveLab V5 as I seem to have lost my copy of it, so I now need to re-install V6 of this application. Crossing fingers...

The Top 20 list for May 25, 2014

I actually want to develop a webpage which lists the demos that have been downloaded, but I need to re-learn how to program HTML. So here is a quick and dirty list.

My thanks to Jason Flower for giving me this idea a year or so ago, course I ignored what he had to say, dumb ass I am...

I gots my mojo back...

Yeah I suddenly started adding stuff to the blog, I suddenly woke up at 5 am (the other day) and power drank a sleeve of 9.3% red ale, then it made sense, oh and John Benson had a request for every Micky Christ release ever done, I'm lucky enuff to have everything (one of my favorite local bands BTW). I'm gonna hopefully post more demos, but I feel a need of a call for demos. Still looking for the Red Tide - Final Solution tape, I'll pay $30 for an original. Anyhow, back to my beer...

Also, I need to re-do a few of the pages, so I have to remember how to access my website. Yeesh,,,

Our first DMCA takedown notice...

Apparently the DMCA didn't like Resistance - Irresistable and Raw Deal, which I had posted in March, 2011. They write: MediaFire has received notification under the provisions of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act ("DMCA") that your usage of a file is allegedly infringing on the file creator's copyright protection. The file named The Resistance-Irresistable and Raw Deal (192 kbps).tar is identified by the key (42027u7uafl5rnf). As a result of this notice, pursuant to Section 512(c)(1)(C) of the DMCA, we have suspended access to the file.

YAY! Automated software, what a crock!!!

F*** the haters...

Kinda makes sense... ;)

REQuests... PLS and Ty!!!

I have a few requests (though I don't know if anyone can fill them), original demos please but I'll take a decent copy of said demos...

Automatic Shock
Sick Sense

Any help appreciated, thanks once again!!!

Ty to our newest donator to VDRP...

Well not really, but I would like to take this time to thank Wolf Rick Patterson for the really nice donation of 2 house amps and a used JVC KD-V100 single deck tape deck, which means my old Fisher dual tape deck has been retired. Which means the new tape rips have to be re-done, plus I need to experiment with new Dolby settings, which I probably won't use (the Fisher deck had Dolby NR settings, these were never used). In any case, there'a an update. Have a good weekend!!!

The current status on the bl0g...

I really need to figure out whether or not to keep running the bl0g. I haven't done any work on it in month's, ideas anyone? BTW: Here's my take on finding demos, I'd be happy finding certain demos, which certain people have, but it's no loss to me if I don't find these demos. It's like certain people in Victoria, BC really don't want me to do what I've been doing as a hobby for over 10 years... go figure. *shrug* In any case, glad certain people have enjoyed what I've done!!!

In any case, I won't be taking the blog down, as there is a lot of music still on it. Peace...

WAV

I really need to work on this blog, I'll post something new in a day or so. Would be nice if I got some more feedback on this blog, *shrug*.

Oh jeez...

I just noticed when I did my last post, sorry I haven't posted anything new, but I'm stuck, I don't wanna lose my Mediafire account by posting too much to my account, reason why I don't upload the entire collection, so I haven't done anything. I always take requests on the Facebook account, for your info. I just noticed Tiemen got a ton of demos, including a L.I.D. demo, must bug him for that cause I bet I can make that demo sound 100% better. Anyhow, nuff drunken babbling...

REQuests, please and thanks!

Check the requests list, it would be nice to find more demos since there's a new interest in the group. The main request is that I'm looking fer the Adhesive Tape demo (yes, I'm asking again), but there are others, including: Boozehounds, Da Jeep, Harvest of Seaweed, Lord Horizontal, Sick Sense and Terrace, Plexus. Thanks once again.

A shame, really...

Update #2...

Was planning to work on some audio this week, but I suddenly came down with some stupid cold bug, so everything is on hold. BTW: I FLAC'd that House of Commons disc, but the total size is over 400 megs, so I'll probably VBR it and put it up instead. Anyhow, nuff said...

Sorry, I've been lax...

I'm gonna upload a few demos in the next few days, like Coconut Bulldozer and Left of Center - Hard Times Demo 1993, but I need to re-copy that LoC cassette I got from Dave Hughes (I used to work with him at Toad in the Hole a very long time ago (before I started VDRP), I found a Sony 90 minute tape at work one day and he was raving over Severance (he was playing in), so I gave him that tape and he copied me that demo and said LoC demo (I like Dave, dude is skilled in the restaurant industry!!!), I think this is what started me doing VDRP, cause that was some fresh tunage! :) BTW: Left of Center has to be my alltime favorite demo in Victoria (yes, even better then House of Commons, oh and I'm also gonna FLAC the Guilty as Hell demo, if it's small nuff to upload to Mediafire, I'll figure something out, as I always do). Anyhow, nuff babbling...

Oops, redoing the links...

Honestly, I fergot I can add links, therefore I must correct my previous links. These will be done in the next few days. Oops...
