The End of An Era...

Here's an update... I have 2 more demos to complete, once these are done that'll be the end of my VDRP projekt. I really don't have the patience to deal with music anymore (or even certain people in the local scene). So I would like to take this opportunity to thank all those people that helped me out over the years. Besides, I feel my talent would be better suited getting as drunk as possible. ;) Anyhow, once again thanks people. Perhaps I'll take my collection and donate it to the Victoria Archives (need to contact them regarding this). That said, peace...

The Beaumonts - The Beaumonts (VDRP Remaster)

I wanted to repost The Beaumonts rip on my Facebook profile, but found out the copy I had was a CBR rip, and not a VBR rip (VBR sounds better IMO). Since I finally got my DVD Rom extracting audio data, I decided to re-rip the first demo I got from Willy Jak. But I listened to the first track and there was an audio glitch, so I ran the rip thru WaveLab only to find that the recording was too loud, so I then normalized the audio. I also took both demo's and merged them into one release, and after a few beers I got it finally done. I think this version sounds better, and it's a great album. My favorite track though has to be Ultraviolent Rage, though both demos are really good. In any case, check it out.

BTW: Props to my peeps on the East Coast, this rip is for y'all!

It seems Marcus has the Pressure Cooker - Cooked demo, Contents Under Pressure has the tracks from the Cooked demo, but apparently the band went back into the studio and re-recorded the tracks for the CD, once I can borrow the demo from Marcus, I'll be sure to post it 'ere.
